2025 Psychological Society of Ireland Conference

ICEP Europe presented preliminary findings of the AIRED project at the 2025 Psychological Society of Ireland Conference on November 13^th 2025, held in Athlone, Ireland. The findings presented were primarily derived from the research conducted as part of Work Package 4. The presentation focused on the findings from the Irish context, inviting delegates to engage with the data and how it relates to their own experiences as academics and practitioners in Ireland.

More broadly, the presentation focused on the key identified gaps in the integration of AI into the Irish education sector, concluding that there is a persistent need among educators for formalised training opportunities on the ethical, inclusive, and human-centered integration of AI in classrooms.

Rebecca Kummer presented in the Individual Presentations in Technology category, titled: “Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Irish Education: Perspectives from Educators”, co-authored by Aleksandra Szproch, Moya O’Brien and Deirdre MacIntyre.
